Hi, I’m Rambu. I’m the illustrator behind Rambutan Illustration and Epic Cat Studio.
With Rambutan Illustration I focus on manga-inspired art, including yuri and adult-themed projects. Epic Cat Studio is home to my lighthearted, family-friendly work featuring funny, chubby cats.Here you’ll find a selection of my portfolio, from prints and charms to larger narrative pieces.

Convention Journey

I began my convention journey in 2013 with a very humble selection at MMC Berlin. For the next two years I stayed in Berlin, and in 2015 I finally made my first trip to Düsseldorf for DoKomi.Back then my table looked very different from today. I only had two postcard designs, painted on T‑shirts, crafted small trading cards by hand, and offered a few prints. At that time I could not imagine that one day I would be able to live from my art through exhibiting at conventions.In this gallery you can see how things slowly grew and changed... from those first modest attempts to more complete stands. Please note: I did not always take photos of my tables, so there are some gaps and not necessarily the best pictures. Still, they give a nice impression of how the journey unfolded step by step.

With Epic Cat Studio I present a full range of family‑friendly artwork: sweet, humorous, and accessible to all ages.
